While in Austin at TCEA, I visited Book People. Book people is a huge book store with a children’s section that is unbelievable. While there, I purchased a new series of books: The Children of the Red King, Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo. So far there are five books in this series (we have AR tests for all five).  If you like Harry Potter you will be a fan of Charlie Bone. They are more appropriate for 4th and 5th gradersand need to be read in order. Unfortunately I was only able to purchase one copy of each book. If you read the book, post what you think of it.
